She holds a doctorate in Water Resources, and MTech in Environmental Engineering, and a BTech in Civil Engineering. Currently, she serves as the GM and Project Head at J.M. EnviroNet Pvt. Ltd., a distinguished NABET/QCI accredited environmental consultancy in Gurgaon, India.

With 6 years of enriching experience as an assistant professor at NMIMS Mumbai, Dr. Chauhan has significantly contributed to research and training. She has authored numerous research papers published in esteemed Scopus-indexed journals. Her areas of expertise encompass water and wastewater management, environmental management, EIA, carbon footprint analysis, groundwater management, air pollution monitoring, sustainability reporting, and BRSR compliance.
