With global policymakers uniting to combat environmental degradation and climate change, and India committed to fulfilling NDC commitments, industries face a critical need to strategize carbon mitigation plans and comply with evolving BRSR standards. The push towards net-zero carbon emissions by 2070 under Viksit Bharat Abhiyan-2047 highlights a growing demand for innovation in green initiatives. With limited registered carbon neutrality projects in India, predominantly energy-focused, there is an urgent call for pioneering solutions and opportunities in infrastructure and green employment. Our focus on ESG, BRSR, green finance, and the circular economy aims to bridge academia, industry, and supply chains, addressing these urgent sustainability challenges amidst rapid industrial growth and technological advancements.

At NRF, we are committed to pioneering research innovations that not only solve present challenges but also anticipate and meet the evolving needs of sustainable industrial practices.

NORMI Research Foundation (NRF) is a testament to the principle that necessity is the mother of invention. Associating an experienced chain of JM Group, that is already engaged in environmental and related domains from a long period, NRF has identified critical environmental challenges through years of dedicated service in association. These challenges encompass environmental, social, and governance issues, necessitating innovative solutions and a transition to a green economy.

NRF has thus been established to integrate cutting-edge research with practical experience, fostering an ecosystem that addresses nature-based problems such as carbon and odour solutions. This initiative involves collaboration among scientists, industrialists, and a skilled youth workforce equipped to tackle current environmental challenges and prepare for future demands in green energy and net-zero frameworks. Our initiatives include job-oriented Net Zero Carbon Courses geared towards future transitions. NRF is governed by eminent scholars and academicians, including professors from prestigious institutions such as IIT Delhi, BHU, MNIMS University, and Bangalore University, alongside experts in patents, former officials, and senior scientists from institutions like C-DAC, NEERI, and IOCL. We are also supported by former members of the National Green Tribunal, retired officials from MoEFCC and CPCB, and a diverse group of professionals from hospital management, industrial labs, and environmental sectors. Advisors at NRF include accomplished engineers, technocrats, corporate leaders, and scholars renowned for their expertise in sustainability from organizations like TATA, IITs, and key industries such as steel, petroleum, mining, and cement.
